Achievements

• 3-Students were awarded Ph.D degree under Dr V.D.Naik and One under Dr H.S.Oza.
• Dr Ms M. R. Noronha was awarded "Shikshan Ratna Award" by Sarvajanik Education Society-Surat on the eve of Teachers Day
• Two minor research projects have been sanctioned by U.G.C under Dr M.R.Noronha
• Dr M.R.Noronha Awarded the "Best Research Paper Prize" in Taxation on VAT-An INdian Experience in Nov-2006.
• Dr M.R.Noronha and Prof P.U.Mehta Awarded "Best Research Paper Prize on Corporate Grievance and Investment Decision and in Jan-2010.
• Faculty members of the college attended local, state , national and international level workshops, seminars and conferences
• Faculty members also presented papers on variety of topics like corporate governance, monetary policy, tourism, peace building etc. at various state, national and international level conferences.
• In the Inter College Elocution competition held on 2/1/2011 at shah Narottamdas Harjivandas commerce college,valsad.a student of S.Y.B.Com 3 Pujit B.Dewani,stood 1st & was awarded with a cash price of Rs 100 and a book.
• Gajjar Dikshita N.bagged the first prize at V. N. S. G. U Youth Festival 2010-11
• Jariwala Bosky S. bagged second prize in on the spot drawing competition held at V. N. S. G. U 2010-11
• Our college Table Tennis (Women) team bagged the V.N.S.G.U inter collegiate Championship held at Navsari.  Two of our students got selected for the V.N.S.G.U team to participate at the All India Inter University Tournament. Two of our students Miss Chipia Zena & Miss Gajjar Moni got selected for the V.N.S.G.U team.
• College Basket Ball (Men) Team bagged VNSGU Championship.  
• Our students Chiranjeevi Kothari, Rizwan Mulla, Faiyam Malik, Saiyed Tanveer, Zahid Safeda, Hafiz Shaikh, Talha Mitcha, Muddasar Gadawala, total eight students were selected for the V. N. S. G. U Football team to participate at the All India Inter University Football Tournament held at Jabalpur (M. P) (Photos Attached)
• Our student Miss Tanaz Lakdawala and Miss Maitry Patel are selected for the V.N.S.G.U Cricket (women)
• One of our students Miss Gargi Lathidiwala represented V.N.S.G.U Basket Ball team to participate at the West Zone Inter University tournament held at Ajmer Rajasthan.
• One of our students Master Rizwan Mulla got selected for Gujarat State Football Team to represent Gujarat State at the Santosh Trophy Tournament.
